FULL 4/1 Reptile Walk with Dylan McManus

Join Dylan McManus, CA State Parks Interpreter, for an exploration of local reptiles and amphibians (aka “herps) during this guided walk. Develop your skills in locating animals with care while marveling at the local species we find.

About the Walk Leader

Dylan McManus works in the education department with CA State Parks and is a very excitable nature enthusiast. Dylan spends most of his days looking at birds and responsibly viewing reptiles/amphibians.

Accessibility

  • Location details will be shared upon registration.
  • Restrooms are not available at this location.
  • Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants; we will walking through tall grasses.
  • Please also remember to check weather reports and bring appropriate clothing.
  • When out in the field appreciating reptiles, it’s always a good idea to bring hand sanitizer!
  • Youth under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Follow the latest guidelines for COVID safety at the time of the event. 
  • Please leave your pets at home. Trained service animals are permitted.
