FULL 7/16 Member Meet-Up: Historical Walking Tour of Seabright’s Changing Coast

From the Boardwalk to Seabright Beach, Santa Cruz’s river mouth region has seen many changes since it first became a tourist hotspot in the mid-1800s. Join Kathleen Aston and Marisa Gomez from the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History for a historic walking tour examining cultural, natural, and geo-engineered changes to the river mouth region — from bathhouses to coastal erosion, and the Scholl Marr Castle to climate change.

This program is in support of the Museum’s latest exhibit, Remembering Castle Beach.
